If you're looking for something to do as we say goodbye to October and welcome November, often overlooked, college theatre productions are the way to go.

This semester's play, Savage in Limbo by John Patrick Shanley, is a play that deals with finding identity and purpose. The setting is in a bar in the Bronx where four character each with their own problem encounter each other. Denise Savage (played by Julie Jachym) is the first character to appear, suffering from solitude and admitting that she wants to get rid of her virginity.

We also see Linda Retunda (played by Kendra Del Toro), who has a big personality and is an old classmate of Denise. Linda goes to the bar because she feels that her husband Tony Aronica (played by Mike DiFrisco) is not into her anymore.

Tony appears at the bar saying that he wants to date ugly girls for a change to learn things. Denise then tries to convince Tony to be with her. In the scene also, is the bartender Murk (played by Jesus Matta), making sure everyone always has a drink along with his girlfriend April (played by Daejah Hawthorne) who fell short of becoming a nun and who happens to also have been classmates with Denise and Linda.

There is tension in the air with everyone's problems surfacing. As everything is getting resolved with everyone else, Denise Savage is left still lonely and in limbo.
